We at Silicon Operations, Inc. ("Chiphub," "we," "us," "our") know that our users ("you," "your") care about how your personal information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our Privacy Policy. Any capitalized terms used herein without definition shall have the meaning given to them in the Chiphub Terms of Service.
By using the Services, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing," means using or accessing information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information.
What does this Privacy Policy cover?
This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personal information ("Personal Information") that we gather when you are accessing or using the Services, as well as the Personal Information we collect and share, including when buying or selling products on or through the Services. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals who we do not employ or manage, including other Users.
Children Under the Age of Majority
We do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information from anyone under the age of 16, or if greater, the age of majority in their jurisdiction ("Age Requirement"). We do not knowingly allow such persons to register for the Services (as that term is defined in our Terms of Service). If you are under the Age Requirement, please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address.
In the event that we learn that we have collected Personal Information from person under the Age Requirement, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Further, if you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact us at info@chiphub.com.
What Personal Information does Chiphub collect?
In order to utilize the Services, you must create a user account and profile on the Services. We collect the following types of information from our customers:
Information about your personal details when you create an Account, including:
- your name;
- telephone number;
- email address;
- password (stored as a salted hash);
- if you create an Account on behalf of a company, information about the company, including its name and address;
- if you create an account using a social networking account, information provided to us by that third-party social network site, including your username, site ID and email address; and
- Payment information, including payment card numbers or other third-party payment information, where required for the purpose of payment, and which will be retained by our Payment Processor(s) under their privacy policies, which can be found here: https://stripe.com/us/privacy.
Information you choose to share with us, including:
- User Submissions;
- The queries you submit to search and converse with User Submissions;
- If you choose to link your Services account to a third party social media service account or single sign-on service, you may have to provide us with your username (or userID) so that your identity can be authenticated by the third party service. When the authentication is complete, we’ll be able to link your Services account with your third party social media service account. That linking may allow us to access certain information that your privacy settings on the third party service permit us to access. We encourage you to carefully choose privacy settings in your third party services to limit the exchange of information to what you want to share with us. However, we don’t try to access any information in the third party service beyond what we have to access in order to allow you to use it to sign onto the Services. We don’t receive or store passwords for any of your third party social media service accounts;
- Your opt-in choices and communication preferences; and
- Information in correspondence you send to us. Please note that when you correspond with us on social media services, the information you share which can be seen by anyone other than you, us and the relevant social media service is not covered by this Privacy Policy. Only information you share with us privately (i.e., through direct messages, private chat, etc.) is covered by this Privacy Policy.
Information automatically collected about your use of the Services, including:
- information about the device you use to access the Services, such as your IP address, device version and technical specifications, operating system, language, mobile carrier, unique application or advertising identifier;
- User Submission metadata, which provides information about your User Submission, such as how, when, where, and by whom the piece of User Submission was created, collected, or modified, how that content is formatted, and any data that you choose to provide with your User Submission. Metadata may also include information, such as your Account name, that enables other users to trace back the User Submission to your Account.
- Mathematical abstractions of the User Submission which allows us to search your User Submissions to allow searches and conversations with them.
- Cookies and other similar technologies (e.g. web beacons, flash cookies, etc.) (collectively, “Cookies”) to automatically collect information, measure and analyze which pages you click on and how you use the Services, enhance your experience using the Services, and improve the Services.
Information automatically collected about your behavior and activities when you use the Services, including:
- Which User Submissions you viewed on the Services, and how often you viewed those User Submissions;
- the number of times you accessed a page; and
- your searches, both of the Services as a whole and of any specific User Submissions.
Information we may obtain from third parties, including:
- If you choose to link your Services account to a third party social media service account or single sign-on service, you may have to provide us with your username (or userID) so that your identity can be authenticated by the third party service. - As part of our marketing campaigns, we may receive information about you from third-party services, such as off-platform advertising partners, data providers, and analytics providers;
- Sometimes other users of the Services may provide us with information about you, including through customer service inquiries;
- We may collect information about you from other publicly available sources, particularly if you create an account on behalf of a company;
Our Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
We will not disclose Personal Information about you except as set forth in this Privacy Policy, unless it is required, incidental or otherwise related to the primary purpose of providing the Services to you for which you have consented to by accessing or using the Services.
Generally
We may use your Personal Information which we have collected to:
- enable your access to the Services;
- secure, maintain, support and improve the Services;
- verify your identity when you register and create an Account;
- track usage of and measure traffic statistics for the Services;
- enhance your experience on the Services by tailoring the content to you;
- supply to you potential recommendations based on your recent searches;
- contact you regarding your use of the Services;
- contact you in relation to comments, complaints, enquiries or dispute resolution;
- notify you over any changes to the Services and to the related documentation, including the Chiphub Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy;
- collect payments from you pursuant to our Chiphub Terms of Service; and
- send you marketing communications.
We will not use your Personal Information or User Submissions to train artificial intelligence / large language models.
User Submissions
Any of the User Submissions you chose to make viewable to other Users will be displayed to all other Users as an intrinsic function of the Services. Such User Submissions become publicly available and can be collected and used by others, and may be redistributed through the internet and other media channels. We do not control the policies and practices of any other third party site or service, or of any other Users.
Usage Information
When we collect usage information, we only use this data in aggregate form, and not in a manner that would identify you personally. For example, this aggregate data tells us how often users use parts of the Services, so that we can make the Services appealing to as many users as possible. We may also provide this aggregate information to third parties with whom we work, so that they can understand how often people use their services and ours, so that they, too, can provide you with an optimal online experience. We do not disclose aggregate information to a third party in a manner that would identify you personally.
Service Providers
We may engage other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. Unless we tell you differently, our agents and service providers will not have any right to use the Personal Information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us in fulfilling your request. Specifically, our artificial intelligence / large language model service provider will not retain or use your Personal Information or User Submissions for training purposes. That said, your payment information will be retained by our Payment Processors under their privacy policy.
Legal
We may in our sole discretion, may disclose your Personal Information if we are required to do so by law or legal process, including:
- in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights;
- as required or authorized by law; or
- to the extent required to permit us to investigate suspected fraud, harassment or other violations of any law, rule or regulation, our policies and user agreements, or the rights of third parties or any other suspected conduct we deem improper. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Business Transfer
We may share all of the information we collect with a parent, subsidiary, or other affiliate of its corporate group in connection with the provision of the Services, and / or in connection with a substantial corporate transaction, such as the sale of the Services, a merger, consolidation, asset sales, or in bankruptcy.
Cookies
Chiphub uses Cookies to help personalize your Chiphub experience. We may also use Cookies to monitor aggregate usage and web traffic routing on the Services and to customize and improve our products and services. A “persistent” Cookie may be used to help save your settings and customize your experience for multiple visits. Also Chiphub may use a Cookie to recognize you as a valid user so that you will not need to log in each time you use the Services.
Most internet browsers are initially configured to accept Cookies, but you can change this setting so that your browser either refuses all Cookies or informs you when a Cookie is being sent. In addition, you are free to delete any existing Cookies at any time. Please note that some features of the Services may not function properly when Cookies are disabled or removed.
Web beacons are very small images or small pieces of data embedded in images, also known as “pixel tags” or “clear GIFs,” that can recognize Cookies, the time and date a page is viewed, a description of the page where the pixel tag is placed, and similar information from your computer or device. We also may include Web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or newsletters in order to count how many messages have been opened and acted upon. You may disable Web beacons in your emails by disabling HTML images in your email program, which may also affect other images in emails you receive.
Do Not Track
Chiphub does not use Cookies to collect Personal Information or track user’s online activities over time and across different web sites, and so does not respond to the Do Not Track setting in your browser. Third party service providers we have engaged may use Cookies to collect your Personal Information or online activities over time and across different web sites. Analytics
Chiphub uses third party providers ("Analytics Services"), such as Google Analytics, to collect and analyze certain of the nonpersonal information collected as described above. These Analytics Services use visitor tracking technology, such as a tracking pixel or other mechanism, to collect, use, share and store our end users’ data.

To opt out of data recording and analysis by Google Analytics, see https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout . Opting-out of the Google Analytics services will only affect the collection and use of your data by Google Analytics but not by any other party.
Email and other Communications
As stated above, we may use your Personal Information to send you administrative communications regarding the Services. We may also use your Personal Information (e.g., email address or mobile telephone number) to contact you regarding the User Submissions you contribute, newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you.
If you do not wish to receive content notifications, promotional emails, newsletter notifications, or other non-administrative communications from us, please follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in any of the communications, or follow the instructions under “Choice and Control” below. We may receive a confirmation when you open an email from us. This confirmation helps us make emails more interesting and improve our service.
Security Precautions
Your ability to access the Services is protected by a password for your privacy and security. If you access your account via a third party site or service, you may have additional or different sign-in protections via that third party site or service. You need to prevent unauthorized access to the Services and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password and/or other sign-in mechanism appropriately and limiting access to your mobile device, computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account. We use a combination of authentication procedures, firewall barriers, and encryption techniques (for example, we always encrypt your data when it’s at rest in our servers, we encrypt your data as it’s transmitted between the Chiphub App and our servers, and we use “https” for secured web browsing), among others, to maintain the security of your online session and to protect your information and our systems from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Please be aware, however, that no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing information is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information.
International Transfer and International Users
Your Personal Information may be transferred to and stored on computers located outside of your local jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of any Personal Information represents your agreement to that transfer. As an example, but not a limitation, if you’re located outside the United States and choose to provide your Personal Information to us, we may transfer your Personal Information to the United States and process it there.
If you are a resident of the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or certain other jurisdictions with similar data protection laws, you have the following rights: the right to access your person, rectification or erasure of, and/or restriction of processing or objection to processing of your Personal Information, and in certain cases, the right to data portability. If you have any questions or want to exercise any of your rights with respect to your Personal Information, please contact us at info@chiphub.com. Before we process any request, we may request Personal Information to verify your identity where allowed by law. Where permitted by local law, we may reject requests that are unreasonable or impractical. Finally, you also have the right to at no cost to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authorities. This right may also exist in other countries.
Choices and Control
You can always opt not to disclose information, but keep in mind that some information may be needed to register with us or to take advantage of some of our features.
If you do not want to receive email or other communications from us, please indicate your preference through the functionality of the Services when and as available, by clicking the opt-out link in emails, by emailing us at info@chiphub.com, or by other methods that we may provide which match the communication method (e.g., STOP in reply to a SMS message from us). As long as we have a r elationship with you, we will need to send you certain administrative communications, so you can’t opt out of receiving those communications. Please note that you will not be able to opt-out from receiving administrative communications regarding the Services.
You may be able to add, update, or delete certain information using the Settings functionality of the Services when and as available, including by closing your Services account. When you do so, however, we may maintain a copy of the unrevised or deleted information in our records to the extent we believe necessary for legal compliance or protection of our interests. We may also use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.
You can stop all collection of information by the Services by closing your account using the Settings functionality of the Services or contacting us at . When you do so, however, we may maintain a copy of the information already in our records to the extent we believe necessary for legal compliance or protection of our interests. We may also use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make changes in the way we use Personal Information, we will notify you by posting an announcement through the Services or by sending you an email. You are bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when you use the Services after such changes have been first posted.
